Daric Gill - Interdisciplinary Artist Interdisciplinary artist Daric Gill specializes in robotic sculptures & oil painting. He holds an MFA from the University of Cincinnati & a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Antique Barn Siding Becomes ToeHead

Check out my latest ToeHead, “Stick ‘Em Up!”

This new ToeHead was made from a piece of reclaimed barn siding that is easy over a hundred years old. After cutting the slat into 3 sections (so I can use it for multiple art pieces), I transferred “Stick ‘Em Up!” using an old school data projector.

Newest Table Is Piped With Possibilities

The Working Work Table!

Some tables are built for working. You can hammer, make a mess, & pretend that the drink you knocked over isn’t a big deal…

… then again, some tables are actually an expensive custom-built coffee table that is slated to sell at a gallery as fine art furniture. As you can probably gather, it was for this reason precisely that I decided to make a much needed addition to my work space: “The Working Work Table”! “Absolute: Separation”

New piece, “Absolute: Separation”

Here is my latest oil painting in the “Absolute” series.  It’s painted on a selection of wood that I’ve reclaimed from an 1800’s upright piano top. You may have seen the other half of the piano top featured as a shelf in my furniture category. After sanding and resurfacing, this piece still has plenty of character that shows through.
