“Absolutes & Complements” At Schnormeier Gallery

Press Release For February Show

I’m pleased to announce that the “Absolutes & Complements” suite of paintings will be at the Schnormeier Gallery this month. With over 20 paintings in this exhibition, this marks the largest selection of the “Absolute” suite ever amassed into one show. Among the work on display will be the debut of “Absolute: Pitch”, the largest private piece I’ve ever created. Happy Returns From the Peto Museum

A Welcomed Delivery

Today I received a very important package in the mail. No, it wasn’t the latest gadget from Amazon. It was however, two of my trompe l’oeil paintings  that were on loan at the John F. Peto Studio Museum, NJ. I’m happy to say that they’ve made their round trip journey in safe keeping. An Open Letter To My Sketchbook

The following is an open letter to my latest completed sketchbook. A funny, but serious reminder that the process of sketch-booking is one of private and professional thinking. It is a personal dialogue much like journaling. It is a necessary and far too often under-appreciated form of artistic expression that continues to be a golden standard in abstract brainstorming.

Newest Table Is Piped With Possibilities

The Working Work Table!

Some tables are built for working. You can hammer, make a mess, & pretend that the drink you knocked over isn’t a big deal…

… then again, some tables are actually an expensive custom-built coffee table that is slated to sell at a gallery as fine art furniture. As you can probably gather, it was for this reason precisely that I decided to make a much needed addition to my work space: “The Working Work Table”!
